Turf is made up of a group of very experienced advertisers and media planners who have been working for many years with some of the biggest marketing companies on top global brands.

Turf was started with the purpose of bringing the same level of skill and media access to local business as the big, multinational advertisers get. We want to help level the playing field, and thereby help contribute to a vibrant, competitive economy. We have a particular understanding of the needs of smaller business, which form the core values of Turf.media:

Turf is headed up by Cheryl Ingram, who brings with her 15+ years’ experience in the digital marketing and communications industry. Having spent the first 12 years in the UK working for Microsoft, followed by Conversant (previously ValueClick inc), Cheryl brings a wealth of experience to the South African market having built a deep understanding of developing and managing digital marketing campaigns for brands of all shapes and sizes. For many digital newbies – the ever changing landscape that is online advertising can be confusing, overwhelming and misunderstood, and it’s Cheryl’s personal drive to make digital marketing accessible to all with a key focus on SME’s who need help building a channel to market that drives measurable ROI.
